About Brandon Dispatch

Brandon Dispatch covers Brandon, Valrico, Bloomingdale, Seffner and Riverview in Hillsborough County, Florida.

We report from public records: county hearings, the Sheriff's Office, state restaurant inspections, the National Weather Service, road closures and more. Every story links to the record it came from.

Software helps us find and draft stories quickly. A person reviews every story that involves people, crime or safety before it goes live.
