Accessibility
Last updated: October 24, 2026
We want everyone to be able to read Brandon Dispatch. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- We write in short, plain sentences.
- You can use the site with a keyboard and with a screen reader.
- Photos have a text description.
- We use strong contrast between text and background.
- Our daily videos show the words on screen.
- The site works on phones and when you make the text larger.
Known limits
- Many of our stories link to government records, such as PDF files. We do not control those files, and some of them are not accessible.
Tell us about a problem
If a part of the site does not work for you, email hello@brandondispatch.com. Tell us the page and the problem. We will reply and try to fix it. If you need a story or a record in a different format, ask us and we will help.
