Corrections policy

We fix mistakes quickly and openly. When we correct a published story, we update it and show the time of the update at the top of the story.

If you see an error, contact us with the story link and what is wrong. Include a public record if you have one.

Arrest stories report charges, not guilt. If charges against a person named in a story are dropped or the person is found not guilty, contact us and we will update the story.
